Big Apple delivered a 3-week luxury renovation at Carlton House, adding a new bedroom, walk-in closet, and French doors—on time and with precision.

Big Apple wrapped up a 3-week luxury apartment renovation at Carlton House, creating a new bedroom, walk-in closet, and French doors—delivered on time with precision and care.

Big Apple proudly completed a high-end apartment renovation at Carlton House, one of Manhattan's most prestigious buildings, located at 61st and Madison in the Upper East Side. In just three weeks, our team transformed the space by creating a new bedroom with elegant French doors, adding a custom walk-in closet, and installing new doors for the restroom.

We refreshed all wall finishes, carefully wrapped and stored existing furniture to preserve its condition, and worked closely with renowned architect Antonio Saracino to ensure every detail met the highest design standards. The project was completed on time and according to schedule, with a deep final cleaning that marked a polished, luxury-ready delivery.

Preparation Phase

The preparation phase of the Carlton House renovation was meticulously planned to meet the building’s high-end standards. Our team secured all necessary permits and coordinated closely with building management to ensure smooth execution. Protective measures were installed throughout the unit to safeguard the existing finishes and furnishings. We carefully wrapped and stored all existing furniture, organized delivery logistics for new materials, and established a tight schedule to allow for a seamless three-week renovation, minimizing disruption in this exclusive Upper East Side residence.

Technical Characteristics

Technically, the project included the creation of a new bedroom with custom French doors, a walk-in closet with refined millwork, and a new sliding door installation for the restroom to maximize space and functionality.

We carefully protected delicate finishes, including the existing Venetian stucco, ensuring no damage occurred during construction. Additional upgrades included the installation of a new dishwasher, updated light fixtures, and a full refresh of all walls using premium materials. Every detail—from precision carpentry to electrical work—was executed to meet the luxury standards of this iconic Manhattan building.

Construction Technology

At Big Apple, we leveraged VR‑AI software throughout every phase of the Carlton House renovation to enhance clarity, coordination, and quality:

Pre‑Construction Visualization: Before breaking ground, we used the VR platform to present the full scope of the work to our entire team. The virtual model allowed everyone—from project managers to subcontractors—to walk through the space, understand spatial constraints, and internalize design intents.

Ongoing Progress Monitoring: As work progressed, the VR‑AI system continued to provide real‑time updates and visual documentation. Every change, installation, and adjustment was captured and overlaid onto the evolving model, allowing us to detect discrepancies early, coordinate trades, and maintain alignment with the design.

Final Validation & Quality Assurance: Once construction was complete, we used the same VR model to compare the as‑built project against the original design. This “before‑vs‑after” capability ensured that every detail was delivered accurately. The resulting visual record also became a powerful handoff tool for clients and facility teams.

This VR‑AI integration fostered full transparency, reduced errors, and gave all stakeholders a unified view of the project from concept to completion.

Benefits to Society

The project was delivered on time with every detail flawlessly executed. After completing all custom work, our team reinstalled the furniture, performed a deep final cleaning, and ensured the space met and exceeded the client’s expectations—bringing luxury and precision to life in just three weeks.
